Favorite RV park/campground?

Mine is LUDINGTON STATE PARK on the west coast of Michigan.
5,300 acres, clean modern facilities, beaches on both Lake
Michigan and an inland lake, fishing, boating, hiking, etc.
The short river that connects the 2 lakes is great for tubing.
The nearby car ferry from Ludington to Wisconsin is a pleasant
voyage.
Very hard to get into without a reservation.
The raccoons can be a bit of a nuisance.

Care to share your favorite spot?

Favorite park

Lost Maples State Natural Area near Vanderpool, TX. Pretty campground with well-separated sites with shade shelters. Can be crowded in spring and fall weekends but fairly empty weekdays, summers and winters.

Miles of hiking trails ranging from level service roads to the primitive campsites to challenging climbs up to the mountain tops. The Sabine River starts in the park and there are a series of ponds for swimming and fishing. It is one of the few places that the Guadalupe Bass can be found.

Beautiful mountain roads to the west and east. Much bigger Guadalupe River SP is only about 10 miles west with the Frio River to swim in.

Fall colors of the maples crowd the park, especially on weekends, but they are worth the hassle. I have always been able to get a weekday campsite even in the fall.

Molas Lake, Colorado 5 miles outside of Silverton @10400'. No hook-ups, dry camping only. The scenery and the stars at night make up for "roughing" it.
Only a few level and accessible sites, gets cold at night and the occasional bear may roam the campground. Most cell services don't work, satellite TV does.
I hope to go back there soon!
