Drove 4 hours to Eagle Pass Texas with great anticipation for Dad to gamble for a few days and enjoy getting away in the as. 107 degrees - air conditioner would only cool to 90 degrees. Had to sit in the truck with the dog to keep her cool while Dad went to the casino for a short time. Packed it all up at 7 pm and poor guy drove another 4 hours back home. Guess we will try again in the fall and call it Father's Day.
That's a shame. My family and I have been sitting on the beach in Mississippi since last Tuesday in 90+ degrees with near 100% humidity. We've continually had to move the air conditioner dial towards the red because we are freezing inside. Hottest temp we've seen was 95 but the trailer was a comfortable 72. My trailer is 24 feet with a single Coleman 13500 btu. Oh and we boondocked the first three nights on some of our property and my single Yamaha 2400 generator ran the entire trailer around the clock on 15 gallons of fuel. The only overload came when the wife tried making a kurig cup of coffee with the ac running.
