Ah-h-h-h-! Just gorgeous, all! Are we lucky folk or what? Airstreams for traveling, natural wonders for enjoying! Keep those notes and photos rolling in, please! By the time the Northlands are past peak, the midlands and south should be turning glorious. I haven't left home, but I feel I've taken a road trip to remember, thanks to all of you Haven't given up yet on stealing a long weekend soon!

didn't take any pictures but the colors in eastern Kentucky mountains were awesome. last week we took I-64 east to the Daniel Boone state park twin knobs camp ground . $14 per night.was a nice park next to a large lake. i put this one on my must visit again list. the colors haven't changed yet. but i would bet next week after the cold front passes we will see the colors start to change. our colors should be at the same time as north georgia.

Petunia and I are now in Beaver City, UT ... most of the fall color is gone. We did find some nice spots on the Nebo Loop at Maple Lake and at Beaver Canyon this morning.
Thanks to all who posted their beautiful photos. Let's make this an annual event.

One more unique shot
While on our last trip to Pittsburg NH we decided to move from Deer Mountain Campground to Lake Francis. While I'd normally describe my wife as a "safe driver" this photo turned up when I downloaded her camera card!
Apparently she took a few (mostly blurry) photos of the Airstream on the move along Route 3. Nice with the fall colors.

Finally got to get out and see some of the fall color. I had forgotten how wonderful the colors are. The few trees here in town just seem to drop their leaves without changing color beforehand. We went into the AZ White Mountains for a fall fishing trip and, althought the fishing was good, the changing of the season was by far the highlight.

Ozarks!
You need to take a daytrip to Lake of the Ozarks. The trees are just beautiful with the oranges, yellows and reds just reaching peak. We were out looking for AS and found one in our own backyard (actually about 5 miles from us). The weather was gorgeous.

OK ... here's one more ... I have been experimenting with panorama and stereoptic photography during our journey. It's been a lot of fun ... and gives me something to do with all my spare time.
This is a panorama of Logan Canyon in Utah ... near the summit.

NO Airstream
Now Porky, That is where you are to stop traffic, park the rig, and get it in the shot. Really cool picture.
