Just wondering if anyone else is headed to the Eunice area for a Country Mardi Gras. Several of our group (Texas Coastal Plains Unit) are making our annual trip over there to enjoy the food and festivities. We are staying at the NW Community Center

Hadn't heard of it until now, but then again, I only joined WBCCI last month. Is it a continuation of the Boudin Run Rally? I've heard good things about Boudin Run from a member of the Louisiana Unit, but couldn't wrangle time off from work to attend.

We have been down here several weeks but are having to head home.

They are ready for Mardi Gras in Louisiana. Quite the deal in these here parts. Gonna be a party!

A word of caution if you are camping---it is warm enough down here that the no-see-ums, sand flies and ants are active. Take precautionary measures if you are susceptible. My feet look like I have smallpox, and we found a small swarm of ants this morning inside one of the chair bags that had been outside.
