Eagle View RV Resort VS Mesa / Apache Junction KOA

Any thoughts from anyone regarding these two RV parks in Arizona?

Mesa /Apache Junction Koa

and

Eagle View RV Resort

My family and I are traveling out to that area for some spring training games at the end of March. We've had some recommendations from this forum regarding the KOA, but I also found Eagle view that looked interesting.

I have not stayed at either one. So any insight would be helpful.

They are both about the same distance from the Ball parks.

Thanks.
John

I live in Mesa but do not know Eagle View.
But it is on the Indian res so if anything goes wrong you come under tribal law.

I've never dealt with Tribal Law. Is it a big issue? What kind of things should one be aware of?
Thanks.

Spent a week at the KOA in Apache Junction a couple of months ago. Only real complaint was that the WiFi was very poor much of the time I was there but maybe they've gotten it fixed by now. Other than that it wasn't one of the fancier KOA's I've stayed in but it certainly wasn't a dump and I would stay there again.

The Eagle View resort is a full facility RV park with essentially all amenities--small pool, laundry, common area, wifi, full hookups, etc. It is relatively secluded with some good peripheral sites that have good views. Nice for an RV park.

Another place you may want to consider is the McDowell Mountain Park---has electric and water hookups--much better scenery but relatively close to everything. Lots of hiking and mountain biking options. Much more the 'camping' experience. They don't take reservations and that time of year may be a bit busy but I would try there first.

Hey Everybody,

Just an update, I wanted to let you know that we ended up staying at the Eagle View Rv Resort and it was very nice. Very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. It ended up being around 20 to 30 minutes from the ballparks we went to. It had everything we needed.

I would recommend it and will stay there again. Thanks to everyone for their input.
