What happens when everyone pays the $40 bucks for the "immediate" walk on? I would imagine that eventually a line will form.

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is a special ticketed event held only on certain nights during September and October. On these nights the Magic Kingdom closes to the general public at 6:00 and re-opens only to those who have purchased the MNSSHP tickets for the evening and remains open for "the party" until well after mid-night with special fireworks and a special parade.

There are only a limited number of tickets available to the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. The most popular evenings sell out sometimes months in advance. Halloween evening is always sold out and the tickets for that night sell at a premium. This prevents the lines from forming and becoming too long. Of course the longest line (usually less than 10 minutes) is for the Haunted Mansion.

Just a warning, you have to be very careful when buying WDW tickets on e-bay. There are a lot of unscrupulous people out there that will sell ticket media that have had all of the days used up and none left or will have a lot fewer days than advertised in the auction. The only way you can find out is either to take them to the guest relations at Downtown Disney or at the entrance to one of the parks. Then what do you do if you paid $100 for what you thought was a four day hopper only to find out there is only one day or no days left on the ticket media?

You used to could take them to one of the Disney Stores, but Disney no longer operates them so I don't know if they have the proper equipment to read the magnetic strip or not.

Very Merry Christmas

I got the very merry christmas parade tickets months ago and I am glad I did. When I was getting them they told me that they were selling out very fast at the time and I got some just in time and this was several months ago.It only cost $85.00 total for 2 of us and for what you will get I think it will be worth its weight for sure.Plus Breanna will be really tired by then.We will be hitting the Majic Kindom and leave and then back there again for the after party hours.I am wondering if she will ever make it that long to even see it.LOL.

Report back on the Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Party when you get back. We haven't been so I'd like some feed back.

The main thing for Breanna will be an afternoon nap and a good meal before you go back to the Magic Kingdom for the evening. We always let our kids take naps in their stroller when they were small and that worked for us, but most people return to their hotel/camp site for naps for their little ones. I'm sure she will be so into the magic that she will be able to do more and go longer than you will expect. Then, on the boat back to Fort Wilderness she will fall asleep in your lap/arms. Ours always did at that age.

We will be going back the week leading up to Christmas Eve and our youngest (age 7) is already counting the days! You'll get a kick out of all the Christmas decorations at the camp sites and the decorations in the theme parks. Some of the neatest are at the Animal Kingdom...very naturalistic in some areas and very kitschy in others. My favorite decorations are at MGM Studios. Of course those at Epcot are really great, too. It can make your head spin trying to decide which is the best. Have a great time!

I'm with Tom when it comes to the lights at MGM. When they light up the city streets, it takes your breath away...and then it starts to snow...really!

All the lights are good, but MGM is the best.

Got back home on Sunday from the Epcot Food and Wine festival. Had a really good site at Ft. Wilderness in the 500 loop (Buffalo Bend). Walking distance from the Settlement, which made transportation to the Magic Kingdom and Wilderness Lodge very fast. Someone on this thread said the bus service was bad, but we never had to wait more than five minutes for a Ft. Wilderness bus to take us where we wanted to go.

Trip

Ok...Me and Breanna left on friday the day after thanksgiving.Trafic was just the same as always except that I know Sunday will be a very thick day for everyone on the road.Well...We are in St.Augustine right now.The first night I stayed at the KOA just down the road from Anastasia. It is really nice but it could have been a bit better.Everything was tightly packed and you can hear you neighbor fart you are so close together. When we walked around to check things out though, the one thing I can say great about them is that there was always a campground worker to help you out.And Yes they did have cable and full hookups but It was $70.00 a night no matter what day or week it is.I would rather stay at Topsail anyday. The place is pretty nice though. After we left today we came to Anastasia State Park to settle in.We will be here for 2 nights and then to Disney.I am glad I came out early because now I dont have to worry about a long and crazy drive.Just a couple hours give or take a few and we are there.I think I am more excited about getting there than anything else. She is going to drive me nuts with...Daddy what is that,Daddy look look look,I wanna ride that.OMG IT THE PRINCESS AAHHHHHHHH......
I really can not wait to get there. This is something she will always remember and will now be a yearly event hopefully.

Great photo. I'm looking forward to seeing it for myself in three weeks! This is the first time they have had the castle decorated like this. They say pictures just don't do it justice, though.

Great shot with the burst of fireworks in the background too. Great job of the timing.

Disney

You are right about that. That was only as much as I could get in the picture with the fireworks. There was a whole lot more going on further away from the castle also. The lights changed with the music also and when it was time for the fireworks,The light went out in a slow motion from top to bottom. When it was over the came back on going from the bottom and slowly moving its way back up.Really cool stuff.MGM also had there lights up and kept repeating how it was Ozzy Osbornes light and were donated to Disney. There was so much going on that we could not do everything.
Oh well...There will be next year.I am already setting that up.
Here is another pic. This one is from Epcot.

We are going in February!

We are heading to Disney for two weeks in February. We landed front row seats to La Nouba Cirque du Soleil. Anyone been yet? It looks like a great show!

I have not posted any picture on here of my trip a while back so I thought I would since I have great reception on my Verizon card.I am going back this year and it will more than likely be for almost 2 week instead of the week we did.It will be easier on the both of us when we go.Plus we can see and do a lot more.
Well...Enough rambling here you go everyone.
These are from the Animal Kingdom.
