for those planning any trips near central florida this week, I have just been informed by my usual diesel source that there isn't any to be had in florida right now. This seems to be borne out by the fact I had to go to 4 stations to find any this morning. I hope this is temporary

Possibly being diverted North to use as heating oil.

Hmm, I'd better watch this thread, we plan to leave for Louisiana & Florida in a couple of weeks.
I have been noticing that diesel is more expensive than gas in the US whereas here in Canada diesel is lower than gas - at least it was last time we filled up!
sorry, just took 4 attempts to find diesel this morning, just thought I would pass on what i was told. Also saw three stations with bags over diesel pumps. So I assume they all just ran out at the same time than.
The flying J website normally lists low or no supply.
At this time there are no notations. Hope it stays that way as we are FL bound in the middle of the week
Price range is @$2.82 to $2.90.
I have been told by a FL resident that some counties add a tax, at least to gasoline which is part of why the price variations are so great in FL
