Anyone taken their Airstream to the beach for day use? I am thinking of the Butler/Crescent beach area south of St. Augustine. No published rules against it, but not sure if it is allowed. Friends take their vans out there, but say they have never seen campers or RV's when they have been there.

We've done that in Sarasota at Lido Beach and near Tampa at Ft DeSoto's beaches. Florida is a pretty RV-friendly state, so I would expect that it's generally allowed except at the perpetually overcrowded sites. It helps to do it in the off season too -- more room.
Hey Pick, I've gone to Daytona with my MH before and did not have any problems, but I would check the rules with the locals before doing so some places require vehicle passes. Also beware of soft sand...Could be a sticky situation.
