Yes, dateline says March 8, 2017-story line says he lost control on Friday.

From where I'm at Friday is not here yet.

Oh man, I was just preparing to rampantly speculate about his hitch setup, overloaded trailer, and choice of diesel tow vehicle. Whatever will I do now to fill my Friday?

Go ahead but also include if the bearings were serviced, synthetic grease used and dual or triple lip seals renewed?

The dateline at the top pf the page changes to what the current date is. The date is now shown to be March 9th, 2018.

This is standard operating procedure for most online news sources.

A careful look at the linked article shows the correct date of publication.
