Great idea for "I need hot water"... and x10 on the Drip-O-Lator!

I recently bought a 6-cup #933 at an estate salefor $2!. Cleaned it up and it looks and works like new! If someone dared to make one like it these days, they'd find a way to mess it up and complicate it beyond usefulness.

Please indulge me with this link, because I am out of picture room here.

For you electricity addicts. The unnatural 60Hz buzz. Tune out and turn on. Back away.

A built-in range means no more digging out of the car trunk Grandads Coleman stove and pumping it up. That’s so 1940.

Join 1960, why doncha.

Some things don’t improve. This is one of them.

Percolators make great coffee....

Electric- we use the Presto percolator... love percolated coffee the best...Kona medium roast is our favorite! We typically either use power from generator or shore power. Used the inverter one time. We also use the $20 propane powered model percolator, which also works well...just have to watch the heat as it can boil over when it starts to perk...we know how to use it now, and it really is no problem. From the fancy contraptions folks have listed in this thread, makes me glad we keep it simple!

Coffee

I want to apologize for sending my last post, I thought people knew how to make a coffee and where asking what they could use instead.
Any ways if you have inverter and want a high tech way to make a coffee buy a cheap low watt coffee maker.
Or boil water on stove.

I have this 800 watt K-Cup style machine. Works great. Coffee in under 3 minutes.

I use a Melita single cup brewer with paper filters. Being biodegradable, the filters are much less of an impact on the environment than those plastic K cups.

I was on Facebook and fell for some clickbait to this blog: https://blog.gorving.com/2017/12/rv-...The%20Fit%20RV

One of the items on it is a K-Cup coffee maker press. Pretty cool. May be my solution... still need hot water to put into it though.

This one is not a "K" cup, but it does make a good cup of hot coffee and is 650watt.

Santa Clause must be a member of this forum and stopped off with this one. 700 watts, K-cup. I also really like that there is no water reservoir. It just puts out what you put in it. It's also small enough to fit in the overhead cabinets. Thanks to all for this input!
