Clothing falling off hangers

In my 28' Safari my hanging clothes frequently bounced off the hanging bar when we travelled. I fixed that with a simple change. I now hang the hangers BACKWARDS on the bar. If we make a sudden stop the momentum of the clothing will be forward and the clothes will stay in place.

We bought "Stay-Put" hangers and they really work. Inexpensive and the clothes are always still hanging.

Frank.

There are several reasons clothes fall off the hangers.

Bad rubber rods in the axles.

Improper running gear balancing.

Excessive rated tow vehicle.

Excessive rated torsion bars.

How else am I going to store my tux? Evenings around the camp fire are very formal in these parts.

The first time my hangars jumped off the rail I wondered how that had happened, then I remembered that I'd just driven from Detroit to Toledo on the I75...

Actually, it hasn't happened that much so I've never looked at a solution, but those items from Camping World look OK

Not all of us are "camping". Some are travelling, some full timing, some extended timing. I have a wedding to go to on this trip. We like to go to the theater, to concerts, to fine dining. Blue jeans are not always appropriate.

We have been camping when my husband had to work, we had a party to go to or we just wanted to go to a nice restaurant. We needed something a bit nicer than blue jeans and a t-shirt

Well I feel pretty good then. My hangers stay put. My 30+ yr old axels must still be good.
