Wine storage?
I put groceries in one drawer and 2 slow cookers in the other drawer.

Classic 28'

We are first times proud owners of a 2003 - Classic 28'. Twin beds. Beautiful trailer, one owner, rarely used. Love the twin beds, the two large closets, and the bathroom.

Congrats Jacob! That is one heck of a nice "first time" Airstream!

The bathrooms are the best. Lot's of room to dry off.

If you ever make it to northern Ohio, give us a call.

Glad to hear you could make it happen! If we can be of any further help don't hesitate to ask. Just out of curiosity, what was your PO's answer on the Micro-Pulse system?

3' goes a long ways. The 25' to the 28' was that important for a more functional practical better living experience.

We looked for 2 years before I found a 28' Classic with rear twins. Purchased one that was 11mos. old in Kansas. Main reason was the split , walk thru bathroom. It replaced our 25 footer. It will be our last one as we plan on keeping it as long as we can still travel.

We are lucky to have found another 28' classic with twin beds. This 2003 only has 50,000 miles. It has a solar panel.

The walk through bathroom feels larger than the closed door bathrooms ?

The walk through bathroom feels much larger and less claustrophobic. I never want a side bath or a wet bath.
Also we travel with a cat. The only floor plan that has enough room for a litter box is the walk through bath. We feed her under the dinette or in the big open area by the "credenza".

That trailer looks good. I don't see any problems in the photos.

Looks like you knocked a home run. It's a twin to my 28' except mine has the queen bed, and yes, I like the walk thru bathroom. PM me know if you need any manuals or paperwork, I'll be glad to send them.

Heading down to Alabama from Wisc to pick up our 2003 classic 28' twin. Hope it's a safe trip. About 16 to 18 hours.

It's an exact twin to our 2003 28' Classic. Our first AS was a 1979 28' twin in the middle bath in the rear. We loved that trailer and then a tree fell on it and demolished the back half of trailer. We thought we would like another trailer with a dinette so we purchased a really nice 96 30' with a dinette. After 6 months we realized we had made a mistake. Our old 79 had more storage than the newer 96 30'.
After a year or so we found a 2003 28' classic, twins, no dinette. It is so spacious, way more storage and closet space that the 30'. The couch is very comfortable for sleeping if someone is snoring too loud. We have had 10 for happy hour, 6 for dinner but the trailer is really only comfortable for full timing for 2 plus Buddy our Cocker Spaniel. The only thing we did was added an office chair and a stool for my feet and solar.
This is probably it for as long as we travel.
We did however pick up a really sweet 1981 28' classic motorhome that we love just as much. One just can't have enough Airstreams

We have the twins Airstreams. I have a question for you. Does the heat pump operate only when hooked to land power ? What does the bedroom temperature thermostat regulate ?
