Cheyenne Frontier Days Slack Rodeo

Got stuck in Cheyenne, WY when my friend's truck broke down. While we are waiting for him to get fixed we discovered the Cheyenne Frontier Days slack Rodeo. There are so many competitors in the Rodeo that all of them can't compete during the main event, so a random selection is made for that and the remainder compete during the "slack" time during the week before. Here is the best part: spectator entry and parking is free.

Yesterday we watched barrel racing, today we are watching steer roping.
Most large rodeos follow this format.
