There was a thread on this about a year ago and we all said it was either a hoax or it would sink. I wonder how deep the water was where they took the picture

I posted some time back about this, and yes it is for real. The folks that build it also build a military landers, and a ferry type boat.
Crazy, huh?
Reminds me of the amphicar. Make a great toad for this unit.

How about a 4 wheel drive motorhome next, like the one some guy in Australia has?

Discovery Channel Monster Garage

Last month Monster Garage had a team convert a school bus to a floating pontoon. I motored over to MarkDoane's house with my pontoon boat last week. Don't think the thought didn't come to mind about taking MarkDoane's 59 Safari Airstream shell (currently off the frame) and putting it on top of my pontoon.

This guy that amkes those is a shister but suposidly he was converting a Class A to 6x6 for a South american client. Was going to have a set of Michelin military truck tires about 39 inches tall. He also had something to do with the 6x6 Military prototype platform based on a 3500 Silverado that was making the auto show rounds. He suposidly did the drivetrain conversion. He orcastrated it and farmed out all the work.
