Check Out Checklist

Anyone ever found and used a phone app for a checklist for checking before leaving a camp site or storage?

Nope. Never even use a checklist anymore. When I first started RV camping, I had a checklist that I downloaded from somewhere, that I printed out and put on a clipboard. Used it religiously, too. Right up until the time I left a campsite and forgot one thingÖ the clipboard!

The printed ones would be easier.

I have one for trailer interior and another for truck/towing equipment kept respectively in those vehicles

We've been keeping our check in / out lists on Microsoft's OneDrive and using their iPhone app for Microsoft Word to walk through the list. Works pretty well for us.

Paper is a good idea too, because then you can write all over it, etc. However, we don't have a printer onboard, and I always forget to print out before we leave.

There is an app that we primarily use for Groceries. It's called "Cozi" Just check things off as you go and then uncheck everything after you're done, for the next time you need it. Could work for check in / out lists.

The "Newbies Guide to Airstream" has excellent checklist. Of course like all checklist they should be customized to personal needs and taste. The author has a new and more comprehensive book coming out soon.

Books trump all else. Excellent suggestion. Some of my books are forty years of age in re RVs.

Only been air streaming since September, used a check list the first few times we went out and thought we had it nailed.

So of course we had a VERY embarrassing event 2 months ago. Drove out of the campsite with the front passenger side stabilizer deployed...

Moved about 4 feet, heard a grinding noise, got out, checked...

CURSED!

Took about 15 mins to removed bent stabilizer and hardware then drove home..

Was an easy fix to get it working again, but now the wife has upped her game and helps with our departure checks. No official list, just a routine and some common sense. we feel comfortable that should be enough for us...

Famous last words, right?!

Was actually looking for the mechanics of running the check list. Found "Checklist+" on iPhone. Seems to work well so far.
