Probably the best is Fort Wilderness at Disneyworld. We have also stayed several times at the Orlando/Kissimmee KOA on the south side of town.

If you want to be closer to Orlando (rather than Disney), Bill Frederick Park at Turkey Lake is a nice park. It's a city park closer to Universal than Disney.

Ft. Wilderness is a great campground, but we love KOA on Lake Whipporwill east of Orlando - although not real upscale, it's very nice, clean and a great location. I really haven't found any upscale campgrounds IN Orlando.

We stayed at the Kissimmee KOA last year. Clean, nice pool, close to Disney, but not upscale.

Lake Whipoorwill

Unless you must be right near Disneyworld, my recommendation would be Lake Whippoorwill Campground on the southeast side. Click here for a picture we took..

Spaces are relatively small but fine for Airstreams. Quiet. Minimal traffic. Near Lake Nona area. Straight shot on Beachline to Cape Canaveral beaches and Space Center. Easy on and off the 417 beltway, quiet and you can get a spot right on the lake.

Turkey Lake would be an alternative.

We've stayed several times at the Fort Summit KOA. Intersection of Rt. 4 and 27. Nothing special really but they have a convenient free shuttle into Disney & Universal. They offer a military discount if you qualify and for the little time spent there it was clean and respectable.
