Y E S !!!!

That was (your photo from a previous post) the photo inspiration that put it on the bucket list. I spent the better part of a day google earthing the coastline looking at cool beaches and aircamping possibilities.

(Red being blamed yet again for something he didn't know he did)

Thank you for reposting the inspiration.

We just finished 6 days at Greyton beach and it was awesome. The upper loop has full hookups and the lower loop is electric water only but on the water if you can find one on the outside. The kayaking was great and connected to the ocean. You can easily walk to the ocean as well. Also spent some time at Henderson Beach... campsites are not on the water, but a very easy walk to the gulf/ocean. Only real issue here was HWY 98 being close to the campground and hearing the car traffic. Very nice campground, excellent hosts and very clean.

A couple things about Anastasia park. Seems like the majority of campers there have been there many times before. All very friendly and knowledgeable. Also great little taco shack at the entrance to the park.
The St Augustine amphitheater is within walking distance and usually has some good bands there. We usually camp in the park whenever we go to a concert so we can just walk back home after the show.
That awesome salad at the Columbian restaurant in St Augustine is another reason to stay.
Will be stopping by the one in Sarasota when we go to Alumaflamingo.

Not yet mentioned:

Gamble Rogers S/P. Flaggler Beach.
Pros.
On the beach. Walk over dunes on boardwalk. Great beach and ocean. Small park very friendly. Clean and neat. Usually a sea breeze.
Cons.
Close to highway. Tuff to get reservations.

Currie Hammock S/P. Florida keys.
Pros.
One side of the loop fronts the ocean. Nice layout. You pretty much get the beach to yourself. Best of the S/P in the keys. Day trip to Key West.
Cons.
Ocean not great (typical keys). It can get too hot and humid to enjoy.

Bahia Honda Fl Keys a few sites on the water and beaches on the gulf and Atlantic. Hard to get into but one of the nicest parks.

I've stayed at Bahia Honda on the water.

It's nice, don't get me wrong, but with the large size, inefficient older layout, traffic noise from the raised highway and well the old railroad bridge not really my idea of scenery I would encourage Currie Hammock or Long Key as two good alternatives.
