Thanks Terry. Someone at work said to look at Paramount's Carowinds, but their prices for the time we plan to be there are considered "peak season" and I was looking at alternatives!

Vernon E Little's RV Park is across from the speedway. He has an area with full hook-ups . They are great people. the address is: 5650 Sandusky Blvd. , Concord , NC 704-455-2596 tell him Ken and Deborah Palmer sent you...you can stay by the day , week or month ....this is on the north side of Charlotte. Take 85 north to Speedway Blvd. , follow to end of Speedway Blvd. , turn right ..go 1/8th mile and turn right on Sandusky Blvd.
