Campgrounds near Wisconsin Dells?

Happy New Year Everyone!

We've decided that our big vacation this year is going to be near the Wisconsin Dells with a side trip to the Mall of America in Minnesota. We want to stay in a campground near the Dells (or just north of it). Has anyone stayed at Stand Rock Campground? Does anyone have any good suggestions? Thanks for your help!

Wisconsin Dells

Roadsub: Here is a link of Wisconsin Campground Association. We've stayed at the Wisconsin Dells KOA and it was convenient but nothing outstanding. The Yobi Bear in Wisconsin Dells is very nice and geared to kids. Only drawback is that its adjacent to interstate so some sites may have road noise. It would be very convenient to Dells attractions. Sky High is another one I've heard good things about but haven't tried it myself. Maybe others will chime in on the subject too.

Wisconsin Dells/Mall of America

Here's another one that is a little further away from the Dells but closer to Mpls. The campground had flowers like I have never seen in a campground and very nice and quiet. http://www.koa.com/where/wi/49101/

Great choice to vacation in Wisconsin. Click on my web page and open the link to Devil's Lake. This is a state park in Baraboo just south of the Dells. Even if you do not stay there it is a must see when you are in the area. We had a rally in the Dells last year at a private campground which had nice facilities and a good location. PM me if you are interested in that kind of camping and I will send you the info.
