Smile Campgrounds

We have just purchased a 2002, 30ft. Land Yacht and are very happy to be first time airstream owners. We are just beginning to enjoy RVing and were reading in our manual about some campgrounds that are strictly for airstream owners. Can anyone tell us about these campgrounds and where they are located?? Nancy

Holiday Park

Just checked the website for Holiday Park, looks nice! Do they have an age limit on rigs? Also, saw that they are owned by the Michigan Airstreamers...do they have any other parks in Michigan. 71Tradewind, Thanks for posting the link, we'll have to look into it too!

Holiday park is a nice campground, and open to all trailers, however to own a site there you must own an A/S. We have stayed there many times and always enjoyed it. Most of the trailers there are Airstreams. Many have never been on the road or licensed.

Has anyone tried the Minnesota Airstream Campground? We emailed reservations 2 months ago, no responce. So I called, got a machine, left a message, no responce. Called again, got same machine, still no responce. Maybe they are full, but it would be nice to know either way.

Not for sure, but I don't think they are open yet. Went by there last Thursday & it appeared they were still closed. Spring in Minnesota comes a little later than other places. I think they did have someone to monitor thier web site e-mail, but again not really sure. It's a great place & has nice accomodations.
Keep trying.
Best,
