Campground in Tucson

Hi all! Does anyone have a good recommendation for a nice campground in the Tucson area? We are going to have people staying with us so we would like a place with full hookups, spacious sites so that we can grill/sit outside, and nice, clean bathrooms. Not too worried about the other amenities -- beautiful views and surroundings is what we are really looking for. Thanks so much for your help! Liz

Here are some Tucson RV camping resources to check out...

If you were wanting to camp in a public camp ground I would recommend Gilbert Ray Camp Ground in the Tucson Mountain Park...it's run by Pima County, has electricity, water and dump station available but no water or sewer hookups, unfortunately, but the surroundings are great. It is on the west side of the Tucson Mountains, so it is a ways to Tucson, but not too bad, and you are really out from town in a beautiful desert setting.
NRPR - Gilbert Ray Campground

Catalina State Park is very close in to Tucson on north Oracle Road near Ora Valley and the NW side... there are water & electric hookups, no sewer hookups...water & dump station available...
