Calling all Airstreams to Amboy, Ca Route 66

Hello Airstreamers,
My name is Charlie I am restoring the classic town of Amboy. the weather is getting cooler in the Mojave Desert so overnighters are welcome to bring your Airstreams to Amboy. we don't have a kitchen open yet but if someone plans a really big desert trip We can provide a mobile kitchen serving breakfast and dinner. Take a look at restoringamboy.com and amboyroute66.com

start an annual camping trip. In April there will be a really big concert in Amboy. Hope to hear some suggestions I am trying to bring life back into the old route 66 town. -Charlie. Royscafe66@yahoo.com

Good Luck Charlie! It looks like a fun place for a visit. I traveled Route 66 for the first time in 1960 when much of the highway was still in tact. Keep us posted on activities at Amboy, if the dates fall in line I will definitely make the trip.
