I will be traveling cross country along the 40 starting June 29th. I am heading to NE Ohio for the 4th of July to meet my woman. Then we will stick around for a week and travel back to Cali. If you will be on the road in that area around those dates, let me know!!! We would love to stop in and say hi at a campground or event...
Won't you get hip to this timely tip:
When you make that California trip
Get your kicks on Route sixty-six.
Seriously, there are a lot of interesting things along Historic Route 66. If you've got the time, you might want to get off the expressway and drive it a little bit. From quaint little filling stations and cafes, alongside blue whale and Pop's, to sculptures of dinosaurs and Indian trading posts, there is a lot to see.
@ TheOhioSean - Thanks for the tip but I have done this trip about 10 times now. I have lived in Cali for about 10 years. I love everything you are describing but this time, I am sticking to people and nature...
@ Sbb - My destination is Newton Falls which isn't far from Berea. What goes on at the Irish Fest? Loads of drinking I assume...
Yes, music, drinking, cultural, vendors(me), food. The gret part is I can see my "Eirestream" from my space in the building, Campground right there on fairgrounds, $30.00 night.

For some perfection takes a little longer...
Anyone know what the probability of picking up open Wifi signals along Route 40 will be? I am pick up a Wifi Ranger Go in hopes to have some internet...
