California in late April?

The trip ended up getting delayed a bit. I am in CA now at a state park just outside Bodega Bay. I will be writing at length on my blog when I get a chance to breath some. So far we have seen Death Valley (very nice), Sequoia (very snowy), Yosemite (also very nice), and now the coast. Tomorrow we are driving to the Bay and taking the ferry into San Francisco.

You did say Southern Cal? The parks you mentioned, I believe, would be considered Northern Cal.
