Cajun Country Mardi Gras

We're going to be spending Mardi Gras in "Cajun Country" this year. We're gonna be based in Eunice La. and make it to most of the smaller towns in the area. Enjoying all the good food and Zydeco music up untill fat Tuesday. Ive wanted to do this for several years and now the time has come. Is anyone else headed that way?

Hope you like to chase chickens.
Check out Rick's site he has photographed a book on Zydeco which won critical acclaim. Rick is fotochop on the forum. Check out his photos under his Zydeco!. The first one is of a playbill for John Delafose and The Eunice Playboys. Rick can give you some insight on what is happening now. BTW Rick also plays in a band called the String Beans.

I lived in Louisiana for 32 years....originaly from there.....if you are looking for really good seafood try a great Crawfish Rest...Crawfish Town USA - Home really good seafood there. Also if you are willing to drive around and travel check out the town called Houma, LA good shopping and even better food. Good luck and have fun, there is no place better than LA for food and fun.

I stop in at Crawfish Town USA each trip to Lake Chuck! Thats at least twice a month for me! Great food, good service, and lots and lots of parking, so pulling in with the AS should not be any problem at all!

Back in Texas for a couple of weeks

After spending a couple of weeks in Cajun Country and eating a bunch of great food and having a blast , we're back at home till the 9th of March when it's back to Louisanna for the "Cajun Heritage Caravan". Man I could really get addicted to that area. Great people, music, and food.
It doesn't get any better than that
