Bug-A-Salt

Has anyone else seen one of these bad boys? I ran across this website while reading over at reddit.com. This is an ingenious invention, and is greatly needed when we go camping. The novelty, fun, and great application made me order one for our Airstream.

Thumbs up

Ha Ha! Now that's an a-salt weapon to have.

I have a fly shooter. You need to reload each shot. But it gets the job done. The dog doesn't much like to be in the Airstream when I am taking aim though...

I wouldn't want salt all over in my trailer. When it gets humid you will have salt water eating away at the inside of your trailer.

Well, the amount of salt is very small, and if you have enough on the floor to make enough salt water that would destroy your trailer, you may need a fumigator in your trailer instead. Besides, a small dust buster or broom could handle the job.

I am getting this mostly for outside use though.

It could, but it would cost $125 shipped rather than $30.

All I care about is that it works and lasts a few camping seasons.

We got a zapper racket too. Killing bugs is serious business.

We do too, but the results are less than stellar. The Bug-A-Salt give me 3-5 foot range

Hi, an ordinary fly swatter and a full blast air conditioner works for us.
