All in all, the part of the trip from eastern NM thru west Texas is pretty boring...but fairly fast. We travel it frequently and are always looking for a "new" route; there isn't one, as far as I can tell. All those little west Texas towns have city parks with RV parking that are either free or with donation. If you want more information, PM me. ...would like to know about this vintage you're picking up.
