I know if one in Ohio but I don't think it is for sale. Pretty rare birds. Every time I get up there I look fir a for sale sign. If I see one I will post here.

On the road at last

Well I got another new hip this time the right side and it went a lot better than the one 6 years ago.
Today I got the trailer out of storage and in the next few day I will get it ready to go to the BIG Q.(Quartzsite AZ) Hope to get out there on Sat the 13th.
Will be good to get back on the road again.

Jimmini

Hi Jim; glad to hear all went well. I was just looking at my photos of our visit with you and Min on the Mogollon Rim last July. Dorothy says "HI" and our best to you and Min.

Greetings from Canada

Hi Jim;

Good to hear all went well and you are eager to get out and enjoy the Airstream again. Wish we could pull up beside you in Quartzsite but not possible. Will be thinking of you and keep posting as you roll.
All the best.

At last I am in the big Q.I got here so late this year that a lot of folks have all read left for parts unknown since this is still the best weather around 60 at night and 80s in the day time I just do not know why they would leave here.
New hip is doing fine BUT next job is to do both knees I am just worn out.
We are on the West side of the old Yuma road about 1 mile south of the La Posa west LTVA contact station. Come see us.
WHY SHOULD I OBTAIN BY FORCE THAT WHICH I CAN OBTAIN BY CHEATING. Doc Holiday

I always look forward to your posts. As a former pilot, I enjoy your aviation related commentary.

You are doing a great job of getting "overhauled". You must have a real long TBO!

All the best.

After 60+ active years as an A & P Flight mechanic all over the world it is hard for me to just sit around and have DRs tell me that I am just worn out. Some time I think I am BER.(Beond economical repair).
I still have a 20 year old's mined set with a 81 year old airframe and landing gear.
MAKE APOLOGIES NOT EXCUSES.

Well the next BIG thing going on in the BIG Q is going to be the Latino Rock Fiesta (as in rock and role) the 18th and 19th of March. They are having 19 bands there for the two days.
VIP tickets for 2 are $640 that is with full hook up camping. Each day shows run from noon till midnight.
DON'T GO IN IF YOU DON'T KNOW THE WAY OUT.
