Speaking of insurance, my wife and I started across the pedestrian cross walk with time still on the clock. The young lady waiting to turn right to our left as we stepped out, did so. My right foot was under the left front tire and my wife was laying on het back with scalp split, blood flowing and unconscious in front of the car. We both were laying in the intersection.

The 23 year old girl admitted fault. Her car insurance policy limits were $3,000 medical and $50,000/100,000 liability which is just above the Utah minimum allowed. The ambulance rides and entry into ER would have vaporized her medical payments coverage.

We pay about $68.00 per vehicle per year for $100,000 medical payments. That is before the liability limits are even mentioned that also cover underinsured and uninsured coverage. Our bills will be paid with no questions asked.

Our carrier will chat with her carrier after the dust settles and clean out her policy limits and then possibly sue the girl and the car owner for the balance. That will be an easy case as she admitted fault to the police.

I mention high Medical payments per person coverage as that covers folks I might injure as well as us in a vehicle related accident. An interesting tidbit is that by law, Medicare and the gap insurance get reimbursed for every penny they spent on our medical bills by our insurance company that will then be suing her insurance company and the driver personally for any shortfall.

Yep got to make sure you protected now days. After my wreck I found out I did not have rental car coverage. Told my agent I wanted all bases covered and was not happy he had not had them all covered. That is after 40+ years with them.
To many hungry layers now days. BUT I could not get one to help me after the wreck to get my lost time and other expenses with out me paying upfront since I was not hurt.
Well off to Mesa AZ in the AM for a few days then I will be back in the squarestream under the pepper tree next week.

Happy camper?

Well back under the pepper tree at TBM in Atwater CA.The weather is nice today and tomorrow at about 70 and no wind.
Cant say that for the rest of the week. The rain is coming back Wen and last through the week end.I sure need some week ends with good weather to get some of the work done on the poor old squarestream ( New awning installed, new floor installed and the trailer polished) since I can not get anyone to come to Atwater to do the work.I have the $$$$ but no one in CA seems to want it.
Just is hard to get any thing done here in CA my van windshield got broken on the 5th of Mar and they will be here to replace it this Fri the 22nd that was the best they could do 17 days later.

What gives? Just got a call and email from a law firm that represents my insurance comp and they are suing the OWNERS of the vehicle that caused the wreck in Oct 2018. Thought this was over and done with when I got my deductible back.
Cant find my happy face, BUT on a happy note I just got my new awning installed on my squarestream today that I bought in Oct 2017, sure is nice to have that done. We are having 2 days of nice weather today and Sunday in the 70s and NO wind,so I am sitting out side and drink beer and take life EZ under my new awning and the pepper tree.
All I have left to do on the squarestream now is have the out side washed and polished BUT have not found anyone to detail it.Then I need the new floor covering installed.Know anyone that wants the jobs?

Bad day

NICE weather
New Dometic frig has not been working right for 3 weeks had to keep it on full cold.RV Dealer finally got warranty part but by then it has quit completely for some other problem. Can you believe 2 problems on a NEW unit.
Since I can not bring the trailer to the RV shop and Dometic will not pay RV repair shop to come out to the pepper tree I am out another $120 for service call.Well I now still have NO frig No more money and no cold beer.

Next thing I spent $500 to get Dish TV equipment and it got here and when I activated it they added another $24 to the bill per month they said that it was the for sending sign to the boxes that they never told me about till after I bought the equipment.I have been on the phone with dish for almost 2 hour and they can not make it work,Dish gave me a local phone number so I can pay them to come out and see what is wrong.BUT that local person is on vacation till next Wednesday.

Modelo cerveza time

Well dealer finally got warranty part for new frig from Dometic and installed today, hope that fixes problem.
Yesterday the dealer installed a new Dometic 15,000 BTU AC unit hope it does better than new frig.
Went to Dometic web site to register AC unit but can not register because it said number dealer gave on paper work are wrong so will not let me register it.
Another thing to take up Monday since Customer service is not opened on week end.

Trying to keep wife happy updating my Squarestream.
Right now I am looking for a ready made shower curtain(Don't have way to make one) for our shower stall one that is about 24 inches wide 5 ft 6 inch long with the tabs that go into the overhead track.
Been on line now for some time and found nothing. Do not want doors,or folding pleated one since they cut down on width of opening to much it is only about 18 inch wide now.
Still looking for folks that have used any of the floor coverings that I have ask about in other posts.

All is still well under the Pepper tree.
You would think I was back home in AZ since it has been 103F here the last 2 days,Pepper tree has not been much help.
Can you believe that 8 people came all the way from the UK to repaint our C-130 to shoot one TV commercial. They just painted over our paint with a paint that they could wash off with a special solution and water.
Left photo before new dress.Right photo in new dress ready for TV shoot.
