The original was a cira 1970 Warn Winch advertisement (without the Airstream). I have an original gotten from Warn after we bought our first Jeep in 1985.

Nice to see the store unfold.
Maybe we will learn who put it with an Airstream.
Sure could put a lot of captions to it.

Howdy Just let you all know
(1) I am still alive. But nothing has changed, just trying to stay out off the grave.
(2)I am just a dang young whippersnapper Still working on C-130s. I just read about a mechanic at American Airlines that is 92 and still working at JFK.
I don't think I can catch him.
(3)Me and the Squarestream are Still parked under the pepper tree.
ONLY OUT ON THE ROAD WITH YOUR AIRSTREAM CAN YOU FIND YOURSELF.

Help

Does anyone know of a mobile RV service or persons around Merced/Atwater Ca that would COME to my trailer at the Castle airport and replace the Zip Dee awning material that I have and maybe install a new wood floor.
Since I live in it when I am working there I can not take it to a dealer. I have not been able to find anyone online. Must be someone around that does that kind of onsite work.
There is free boondocking for a trailer where I am if someone wanted to come do the job or the Castle Air Museum has a full service RV park on the airport.

Might make sence to start a fresh thread in search of a traveling installer, only people to see it here are those of us following your adventure.
might get a bigger audience, or the right one?

Thank will look into that.
NOT much adventure any more for me in my old age unless you call going to DR,s an adventure.
Guess some folks could call the last 3 months of having a colonoscopy, 4 weeks of Radiation therapy and eye surgery an adventure, but not me.
Adventure to me is a undertaking usually involving danger and/or unknown risk.BUT enough of this Dr stuff Time to get back to living life

Also Jones RV and Truck Repair in Merced. Maybe they can point you in the right direction.

Was wondering if you were still under the Pepper Tree.

Sounds like you been at the Doctor's office more than your share lately. Hang in there.

Thanks Did that no help there.
Got back here and found refrigerator had died after only 26 years.
Now have 3 problems to fix, floor, awning and refrigerator. The RV dealer here said that the new ones are 2" taller and would have to come out and measure to see if it would fit.Said he would call be for he came out, 4 day later and still waiting.ONLY in CA.
May God help the poor folks that think they have to live here.
Guess its time to give up helping friends and go back to AZ where you can get things done. Have you ever tried to live in Atwater the back tank of CA with out COLD BEER.

Sorry for your troubles. I do know about the refer thing, discontinued exact replacement for our 91 excella with the new models being enough larger or smaller to require cabinet work.
nothing is easy.,

Thanks

Guess I am spoiled since we have many folks at home in AZ that will come to you parking or storage when you have $$$ and do what ever you need done. I have had lots of work done in the storage parking.

Wrecked TV

On my way back to work in California on AZ I-10 mile post 52 when some
@$%# came down the on ramp from a rest area, came across #2 lane right into #1 lane cut me off an I hit them in LF rear corner of their pick up bed, they where at a 15/20 degree angle to me.They failed to yield right of way off an on ramp,Made unsafe lane change and pissed me off. I now have a BIG V in the middle of my TV.Took out radiator and all in front and behind it.Fenders still good
Photo right side up in file why not here, how do I turn it over here?
I was NOT towing trailer. Was going speed limit 75 MPH,Lucky had seat belt on since airbag failed to deploy.
My TV only has 114,624 miles on it. Insurance co thinks it is total but still looking at it since low mileage and I want it fixed since I can not find one online as good as it is. 2 wheel drive V-10 engine.

Jimmini, I’m just darn glad YOU survived the experience. The TV is just pranged hardware...inconsequential compared to your life.
