Jim, Gail and I will be in Parker on Friday and Saturday to work communications for the Parker 425 Off-Road Race. We will stop by and see you and the group on Sunday morning if we can find you. Give us directions to the Airstreamers.

Head south on 95 over IH10...go to the second ranger station entry point on your right(La Posa LTVA-Tyson Wash)...follow the main gravel/dirt road(it will be the middle fork at the three-way split not far from the station) and go about a half-mile...we are off to the left...the access 'drive' has pink surveyor's tape tied to the marker pole(a plastic marker 3" wide X 4' tall)...marker # 541...pm me for cell#...mike

Q Today

Well Larry and I made the hike up into Palm Canyon today.Palm Canyon is about 18 miles South of Quartzsite off Highway 95 about 7 miles on a dirt road. They are the only native palm trees in Arizona and are tucked away in a narrow, rugged canyon on the Kofa National Wildlife Refuge. The canyon also has a lot of Bighorn Sheep But we did not see any today.

Q Today

Larry had to leave today and go back to Texas,But it was good to see him.
Like most days in Q the weather is real nice today still in the upper 60sF might even make 70.
Since no one even made a guess to what they are doing in post 305 Photo 1 &2.They are playing with their WOMP'EM STICKS.
You support your Womp'em stick between your knees large cooking head up.(Concentrate, don't laugh)Place biscuit dough on top of cooking head and mold evenly around head to about 1" from bottom.(Ignore everyone, keep going.)Slowly roast over fire 12 to 15 minutes.( Relax don't hurry enjoy the company.)When golden brown remove rap in napkin and go crazy fill with berries, ice cream, yogurt, chili, scrambled eggs or a hot dog.

Photo 2. Looking down the road at all the trailers boondocking in Q.( click photo to make bigger.)
