Well Larry and I made the hike up into Palm Canyon today.Palm Canyon is about 18 miles South of Quartzsite off Highway 95 about 7 miles on a dirt road.They are the only native palm trees in Arizona and are tucked away in a narrow,rugged canyon on the Kofa National Wildlife Refuge.The canyon also has a lot of Bighorn Sheep But we did not see any today.

Well Larry is out riding the back trails again today for a few hours.Like most days here the weather is good should get up to 68 or 69F.
In photo 1 and 2 can anyone guess what they are doing?

Larry had to leave today and go back to Texas,But it was good to see him.
Like most days in Q the weather is real nice today still in the upper 60sF might even make 70.
Since no one even made a guess to what they are doing in post 305 Photo 1 &2.They are playing with their WOMP'EM STICKS.
You support your Womp'em stick between your knees large cooking head up.(Concentrate,don't laugh)Place biscuit dough on top of cooking head and mold evenly around head to about 1" from bottom.(Ignore everyone,keep going.)Slowly roast over fire 12 to 15 minutes.( Relax don't hurry enjoy the company.)When golden brown remove rap in napkin and go crazy fill with berries,ice cream,yogurt,chili,scrambled eggs or a hot dog.

Well the weather today has been partly cloudy and 66F.
The Big tent has come down so the party is over for a lot of folks in Q but it gives us others more room now.

Looks like we may get a few rain shows this afternoon and tomorrow.
Well we will start getting ready to move to the 4CU rally at Dead Horse that is next weekend.

Well packing up today to go home tomorrow and up to Dead Horse on Thur. to the 4CU rally.
The rain is gone and it is a nice SUNNY day should get up to about 64F and that will be good to drink beer and watch the game.

Well, WE have packed two flamingos(and legs) and have wandered around the rig with best intentions and little motivation...can't pack til the beds are not in use...Tues am...late...well, ok, maybe early afternoon...
Larry, from SoCal Unit, showed up around 11-ish; another will arrive tomorrow.
Gave the car its annual vaccuum(actually found a dashboard under the dust!), and am feeling kinda overworked, as I also used the 'California Duster' on the rig...now I have less peeling paint(read: less paint), and red strings hanging from all the rough spots...will look like Little Orphan Annie going down the road...
NEXT STOP: DH4-SMR, and a tot of grog for me innards...aaarrgghh!!!

Well another nice day in Q.The weather is grate 68F today and next week should get into the 70s.
ScrapIrony-2 is leaving today to go to the 4CU Dead Horse rally.We have changed our mind about going to the rally and are going to stay in Q.
There are now 5 rigs here.We have had two more trailers join us that belong to the Nor-Cal unit.They have been at the Hobo rally then came over here.
