Boise area camping

Planning on visiting family in Boise for Thanksgiving. What are your camping suggestions and recommendations?
Thanks
Marshall

m AZ. . . we stayed at Mountain View, near the airport, and it was pretty good. Tight spaces, but doable for my 25. The place was neat & tidy, and the folks were nice. Someone recommended Hi Valley, but they were full. Boise was an enjoyable town I thought. . . travel safe, Craig

We stayed in a commercial RV park once there-- can't remember which one: crowded, but fine. Further afield, we enjoyed the City of Rocks in southern Idaho and Farewell Bend state part in southeastern Oregon.

But haven't you got a lot of driving ahead of you, in potentially wintery conditions?

Winter conditions potentially? Yes. been there, done that. City of Rocks is great but too far from Boise. Don't know about Farewell Bend.
