I'd rather have goose poop than bear poop. Besides the gigantic pile bears leave, there's a bear around wanting to make more poop.

I don't know if you were on the W. Va. Turnpike, but when we were, it was a terrible, bumpy, pot-holed road they should have paid us to use. Beautiful state, often messed up by humans.

Even though the Ford factory is much older, it is newer and cleaner looking. We drove by to check out Kentucky University and it is huge too. Decided to see Versailles today and bought gas there for $2.18 per gallon. Then we toured the Kentucky Chocolate factory. Everyone wants reservations, but that isn't our style. Toyota only had one empty seat so Lee sent me out alone. I gave the sad look and story that we drove all the way across the country to see the chocolate factory, so they let us in.
I think that's why the Prayer Cave is so popular -
those visitors are seeking a rather urgent "direction".....

Lots of goose poop at ga mt fairgrounds where springstream is held. Not really a problem unless your dog rolls in it!

Next we went to Tahquamenon to se e the lower and upper water falls. We put Dusty in his wagon, but he wasn't having it and wanted out. We waited as Lee went to check out the lower falls. Dusty's tongue was getting longer so back to the air conditioned truck for him. [and me] we drove to the upper falls and Lee stayed with Dusty while I checked it out. Quite a popular place for people to play in the water. Not Bob, he sinks like a rock. Then I stayed with Dusty so Lee could check out the upper falls.

OK too hot, so lets head towards the camp ground. Dropped Dusty off in the air conditioned trailer and headed to "Mystery Spot" where Lee decided that she wanted to Zip-Line. Well we double Zip-Lined. By that, I mean we both went down two different Zip-Lines. One was 400 feet long and the other was 750 feet long. We don't remember how high they were.

We were going to stay in London and while there I was going to visit Cam-Am Airstream dealer. What's an Airstream????? It's a trailer. And go to Niagara Falls. So what did we do wrong????? Nothing. Where are you going now? Show me where to turn around and we will go back to the USA. You don't want to continue? No!

We were very upset by this caused by some idiot guard who was having a bad day and wanted to ruin ours. We will now put Canada on our don't ever go there again list just like Mexico. We were going to spend a month or so there and spend thousands of Dollars while there, but Canada will never see another thin dime from us. : angry:

They also tore one of my upper cabinet end panels off and left it on the floor.

We went back to Michigan for the night and will most likely go to Ohio.

When we get back to Oregon I'm going to burn a Canadian flag in my front yard for everyone to see. [Not really, but they really pissed us off]
Hi, pictures of Canadian harassment.

Thanks Bob for the photo showing what they did. I don't know how you get that panel back on without messing it up. It looks like they were looking for drugs (the beard, of course). I'd be angry too, and if I didn't have reservations ahead, I might turn around too.

We stayed for three nights there, so on the 31st Lee and I went back to the Gilmore Museum. Lee doesn't really care for old cars, but they have a Pierce arrow barn and that got her interested. Dusty stayed in the air conditioned trailer. On the !st of August, Lee and I went back to the museum again; This time for an outdoors car show and a few Tin Can Tourist trailers. For the very first time on this trip, I saw an Airstream with an Air Forums sticker on it. First one in 4,500 miles of traveling.

Hi, today we left PA. and we are now at a KOA in New York. We needed a few things from Costco, so I entered Costco in Caroline. The problem is/was that the nearest Costco was in Canada so I made a quick detour. Now I have to check the details so I don't get Shanghaied into gong into Canada, like almost happened tonight. We didn't have our passports with us anyhow. More reason for them to harass us again. I have WIFI, but it is Tengo-net, so you know how that is. This WIFI doesn't like me posting pictures even though they are greatly reduced. maybe tomorrow will be a better day.

I am enjoying your adventures. I'm shocked that the border patrol tore your AS apart like that. I would have been angry as well. YIKES. Did it LOOK like you've pulled that panel on and off to stuff it full of contraband? It's unfortunate but I appreciate your posting this so we'll know not to go camp in Canada. We'd entertained the idea of camping at the Pinery years ago but now will not.

Hi, this morning around 9:00 AM a bus took us to Niagara Falls. We were taken to a few locations for views and to the actual falls. Given ponchos and sandals, we walked up in to a part of the falls, still got wet. Later we took a boat ride right up to the falls. ["Maid of the Mist"] That was amazing. And wet.

Bob (from Salem), as I recall you can only board the Maid of the Mist from the Ontario side. How did you get in and are you now locked in a dungeon in Yukon Terr.?

Hi, Gene; Since the blue ponchos are on the Maid of the Mist, we were on the US side. The red ponchos are on the Canadian side. Since my house was nuked, we might just as well take full advantage of full hook ups at your Colorado house when we get turned around.

We have another tour tonight where they sneak us across the Canadian border. If we get locked up, I'll have Bob Cross take care of Dusty and his silver house. I think Bob wants to see what an Ecoboost can do.

I saw a diesel pusher in the camp ground this morning and it tag stating that it has 330 Horse Power; That's 35 ponies less than my F-150.
