Good to give her some lead time to stuff everything that usually lies around in the closets. The only thing worse than having your parents or in-laws visit is having your house on the market and keeping it spotless for months or years so that when the realtor calls and says "I'm bringing someone by in an hour" you don't have cardiac arrest.

Hi, today was a busy day. Among things done today were give Boo-Boo a bath, do some laundry, load more stuff in the trailer, Cook my 3 lb Turkey for our Christmas trip, Bring flowers to Forest Lawn for my parents, order flowers for a Funeral, hitch up my Lincoln to my Safari, Un-hitch them because I forgot to tank up the Lincoln first, [senior moment] Tank up the Lincoln, re-connect the Lincoln and Safari, and hope I didn't forget anything. We were going to leave for Arizona tomorrow, [Thursday] but it will have to be Friday now. Our friend and neighbor, for about 31 years, passed away and her Funeral is Thursday.

Maybe you ought to swing by the Grand Canyon and see deauxrite—he's camped in more than a foot of snow. It's in the same state, after all.

Hi, Gene. The Grand Canyon was last year, but you could swing by Phoenix. We should be at the Desert Edge RV park.

Hi, everything is ready to go; We are leaving tomorrow morning. Hoping for light traffic, but will deal with whatever we get. The Lincoln should get us out of California on one tank of gas, then we can save a few dollars in Arizona. This will be our first trip without our refrigerator stuffed full. We have been know to bring too much and somehow come home with the refrigerator still full. No generator or spare gas can will be brought on this trip. My pantry is only about half full too; We'll see if my pantry slide fix works. This won't be a real long trip and should be on decent roads, so I don't anticipate any problems with either vehicle. [knock on wood]

How true. If our fridge starts getting empty, we fill it on the road. We need a rubber fridge.

The only time we took the trailer to Phoenix, we stayed in a snowbird park which seemed the last step before a nursing home. We didn't know where else to go and it was our first long trip with our month old Airstream (Thanksgiving week, 2007). Hope your digs are more lively.

Can't make it to Phoenix since Christmas at my in-laws is mandatory.

Hi, well we made it to Phoenix without any problems. We are at desert Edge RV Park; Also known as the Purple Park. The people [other campers] are all friendly. We already had a short visit with my Daughter and three Grandsons. We will be with them again tomorrow. So far, the World hasn't ended and my Lincoln runs like new. Boo-Boo seems to like Christmas trees; Knocked their train over a few times.
