We use sheets and blankets in the AS. In the kids camper, they have both, and God only knows what they actually use. When we go, we usually have other family members in a caravan. For example, that time we went, we had our rig, my parent brought theirs, and my brother showed up with his. Next trip its us, my wifes parents and grandmother, her sister and family, and her brother and family. The kids are allowed to sleep were they want, in the kids camper, in grandma's rig, with the other kids in a tent. Lots of beds to go around.

We are using Travasak's (Sorta both sheets and sleeping bag ;-). Great for the "guest" bed (the couch, then stuff it into it's bag), and the master bed (just cover with the bed spread). The sheets are then detached (hook & loop) for washing.
A 12 vdc heated blanket under the sac is great for those crisp nights where the forced-air heater might over heat the two siberian huskies!

yes those bears are kathi's, she used to do daycare for 8 kids out of our other home.
she is like the universal mommy, wherever we go kids just gravitate twards her. the bears are for that.
this is my mascot, on the bike or trailer. her name is luci, as in lucifer!

Do you use pillows or stones?
We like flannel sheets when it's cold and cotton ones when it's not. Everything for the couch fold out bed stores in a drawer under the couch. The twin beds have sheets ect. with quilts that can take the day use too. It's all so easy to wash and you can find primo bedding at places like Tuesday Morning and Ross.
I just enjoy the luxury of it all, seems so fitting for an Airstream. I think of them as lodges rather then tents, but that's just me????
We used to use sleeping bags that came with a custom made sheet velcro to the inside of the bag. Made it easy to wash the sheets and not the bag.
Somewhere along the line we missplaced the sleeping bags and now we use sheets and blankets. I think I liked the sleeping bag best, no bed to make up and the velcro sheet made things much easer.

Your idea is great and your goucho is beautiful. It actually makes this old bachelor think I should get me a wife if only to fluff my trailer up a little.
I use a sleeping bag because it is easier to zip and roll up. I sleep on the single middle twin bed or move to the front couch depending on my mood. The middle twin has sheets on it but the sleeping bag stays unrolled on top of it when I am not sleeping. All those years of my mom making me make my bed up each morning has taken it's toll so now I am getting even.
