Best Route to Ft. Wilderness from I75?

Can anyone tell me if it is better to take the Florida Turnpike to I4, or Turnpike, get off at 27 and go down to 192 to World Drive? Never been down 27 in that area, so I don't know if that route is loaded with traffic lights.

I'm only familiar with the other end of 192 (in-laws live down there), but since the entrance to WDW is so close to the I-4/192 interchange, I would think that this would be the best way.

I've done both. The 27 route will save you several tolls and is fairly nice. There are some traffic lights to stop at but not too many. I-4 can get rough at times traffic wise (high speeds and lots of cars). I think the I-4 way is faster but I'm driving a mini-van.

I-4, from the turnpike is the best route. Yes, you will have to pay the toll, but it is a better drive. Hwy 192 is full of traffic lights and traffic. I just went to Disney in July and found the traffic on I-4 to be light compared to Atlanta traffic. I guess it depends on who's traffic you are comparing it to. I drove by the entrance to Fort Wilderness, it looks great. I hope you have a wonderful time!
