Best portable tire inflator
We have a 2017 25' FC TFB, we are interested in punching the best brand tire inflator on the market. Any suggestions? Thank you!

The VIAIR 450 is pretty good for me.

Tricky question "best". Unless someone has tried every brand and model available it is frankly an impossible question to answer. I can tell you what have and carry. Both are from Harbor Freight. A small D.C. powered one and a 120 volt 3 gallon pancake. I have only used the D.C. one a couple of times. Sort of slugish and slow but does the job. The AC powered one is much more effective. When boondocking I can plug it into the inverter in my Jeep or any available AC power source.

I use a Motomaster 12V/120V pump that works great, plugged into either a 12V receptacle, or a home 120V outlet (two cords). It has a digital readout- you set the pressure you want, and it stops automatically when it reaches the desired pressure. Good range of pressure, too. My trailer tires require 80 psi, and it handles it with no problem.
The 120V cord is ridiculously short, so an extension cord is required.

I've the Vlair 450P-RV. Not inexpensive, but the quality and function exceeded my expectations. With 2 hoses, it will reach to the back of the longest Airstream. The connection componentry will address all needs (including the spare tire without having to remove it). I find myself using this unit at home instead lieu of my large compressor.

I agree the Vair RV is very good and I also recommend that you invest a very good digital tire inflator that you can use in place of the one that comes with the VAIR. I recently purchased the Astro 3018 Digital Tire Inflator with Stainless Steel Braided Hose. It is not inexpensive however I definitely like it better then all of the others I own.

We have the vair 88p. It's a nice little compressor for 60 bucks.
I also use an awesome bicycle hand pump, some of the better ones can pump air pretty darn good. I use it all the time to top off the tires.

Kobalt Multi-Purpose inflator
I use the Kobalt 12-volt/120 volt Multi-purpose Car Sport Air inflator. It has worked well for me.

I just bought the Viair 400-RV. I choose the 400 over the 450 because although the 450 can run continuously, it doesn't provide as much air. I can't see inflating tires on an AS taking over 20 minutes. Meanwhile the RV package included a second hose and another air chuck.
I ordered through WalMart, because they beat Amazon on that day by a lot.

Best portable tire inflator
Well, I'm going to break tradition and recommend the Ryobi inflator.
https://www.ryobitools.com/products/...power-inflator
It's the Home Depot cordless brand. And I got a great deal on two hi capacity lion batteries, and I now have a leaf blower, orbital wax machine, and flashlight.
I've used the inflator several times already, interestingly enough on my TV only, since my Airstream tires haven't needed it yet.

I use the Kobalt dual voltage (12/120) portable air compressor from Lowe's. I think it was around $50 and works well. I would recommend purchasing the extra 1 yr warranty which was around $5.

That's the best advantage. Once you have one you don't need it. It's Karma.

I started with the Kobalt, but it quit after a few hours. I've now had a Viair 450 for a couple of years and used it many times to top up. Highly recommended!

If you have AC available, either shore power or inverter, a small AC Campbell that does the job for me with 80 psi tires would work. It has a regulator that can be set for any desired pressure you will need. An AC/DC model would be more versatile. I have 110v outlets on both sides of my trailer and a large battery bank for the inverter. You could install DC sockets on both side near the tires if you only have DC.

PSX3 Power Station
We use a portable battery jump starter/high volume tire inflator. We like it because it is multi-purpose, rechargeable, portable and easily stowed in the forward exterior storage compartment. We mainly use it to keep both our truck and trailer tires at the right pressures. We can inflate anywhere without the need for shore power. We only need to recharge every couple of months or so.
Occassionally, we use the Power Station as an emergency power storage, e.g. left trailer parked under a tree (which blocked solar panels) for ten days and electric jack was without power. It could also be used to jump start our truck if necessary.
Bought it at Costco for around $80 a couple of years ago. One of our best Airstream accessory purposes and ranks just behind the heated mattress pad.
