I was in Jackson Center the week before last for some repairs (Ugh!) to my (almost) new 2004 30' Classic, and happened to see the new wall mounted TV stand that Airstream is now selling for flat screen TV's, and installing in the 2005 models. I didn't have time to ask about having one of these put in my trailer, but that's going to be on my list of things (along with satellite TV) to buy when we get underway camping again next spring.
With the layout of our 30' model, we put our TV on the credenza to watch it, but have to turn it around when we watch from the dinettte versus the couch, then put in on the floor while trailering - that's kind of an inconvenience to do. With the wall mounted version, you put the flat screen TV on the wall mount and that's where it stays - just turn it around to watch from either the kitchen or the living room. It may have velcro to hold the tv when towing -- I didn't look at it that closely -- does anyone know?
It's a bit pricey, I think several hundred dollars, plus installation, but it would be worth it for my wife and me.
