Best GPS for towing?

Has anyone used a GPS which takes into consideration the trailers height and weight? The Magellan Roadmate Pro 9165T is one of these. I know there is always the chance of errors with these devices.

I'd like to find one that isn't a Magellan. I had endless problems with Magellan's technical support, to the point that I gleefully smashed my last Magellan with a hammer and said, "Never again!" and bought a Garmin. Magellan's answer to EVERY problem was, "Send it back to us, FedEx, at YOUR expense, and we'll replace it." Didn't matter if the problem was with hardware or software, always the same answer. And when I did that for a software problem, and got back a replacement that not only still had the same problem but an older version of the maps to boot, I had enough.

Thanks for the input. By searching the forums I discovered that the Rand Mcnally Tripmaker RVND 7710 was popular.

Rand McNally GPS

Here is a good option -- We do not have one, but have talked to people who have them.....

With any GPS there are +/-, but I think this is one of the only GPS with RV specific features.

Click ont the link below:

Mojo -- Thanks for the information.

We struggle with the build in navigation in our Durango.
