Yes, there is a very nice RV park in Bend. Bend/Sisters RV park as I recall. A little pricey but a very nice park.

Sisters is also the name of the town

Sisters RV was just sold. 2014 prices are $57 for a weekend night. Bend must be a popular destination

Crownvilla in Bend peak rates $63 to $84 depending on site size

Scandia CG is $44 to $50

You might want to try Tumalo State Park

Scandia RV park. Beautiful little campground in Bend. Have stayed there twice and liked it. More in town than in the country. Bend is a very popular destination and priced accordingly in the summer.

We live in Bend and actually love to stay at Tumalo State Park! Also, once the Cascade Lakes Hwy opens up, there are some great campgrounds near Suttle Lake, Elk Lake, Crane Prairie etc. It is a loop from town that goes out beyond Mt. Backelor and connects back to Hwy 97 near Sun River. The campgrounds are all within about half hour to hour of Bend. Enjoy!

what is the projected date for the opening of Century drive past Bachelor?? i am surprised it is still closed as the lack of snow pack has a couple of the high WA passes already open. we have about 30 years of camping experience up there so know that area pretty well. but this trip, i want to leave the AS in Bend and drive the loop to see what has changed. we have not done this for 20 years so expect to learn a bunch of where to go or not.

We are heading to Bend in August for a fly fishing event. It's a popular place and it's hard to get sites so book as soon as you can.

LaPine State Park is a nice affordable place to camp. Just don't fish my stretch of water;-)
