Bella Vista, Arkansas

I have to make a business trip next week to Bella Vista, Arkansas.

I thought I'd try to take the trailer out for one last time before winterizing.

Can anyone recommend a camground in the area?

I did a google search but didn't come up with much.

Must see

Do not miss visiting the Cooper Chapel, an exquisite design by Faye Jones. The chapel is located in Bella Vista.

We visited that area in 2004 with our Scamp. Sorry I do not remember where we stayed, but I do remember it was fairly close and nothing to write home about.

There are several private campgrounds and a state park on or near Grand Lake at Grove Oklahoma, about 40 miles from Bella Vista.

I am from Siloam Springs, about 25 miles away. There is not anything in Bella Vista, but parks are with in 15 to 20 miles. The closest to Bella Vista is called Wliderness Hills RV Park. Its privetly owned, and an ok park, nothing great. Rustic and a bit out of the way. It is in Gentry, AR. about a 25 minute drive from Bella Vista on good 2 lane road, with no traffic to speak of. Depending on your time constraints and other hobbies, Roaring River State Park in MO is a beautiful choice, about a 45 min or so drive away from BV. It features a trout hatchery and fishing. PM me if you would like more..
