One, two, three... what are we fightin' for?

Country Joe and the Fish (Woodstock)- Next Stop is Viet Nam / What Are We Fighting For (Country Joe McDonald)

One, two, three... what are we fightin' for
Ask me, I don't give a damn. Next stop is Viet Nam.
Five, six, seven..... (You know the rest. Maybe.)

Shows my age and attitude problem at the same time.

Whitsend. I noticed your tatoo of your 1954 25 footer. If it is stolen you can show the police what it looks like!

m.hony. I had a buddy taking geology with me at the University of Wyoming. He started with some facial hair in his freshman year. Today he is a College Professor of Geology and his beard is four feet+. I tell people that know both of us, that I knew him when he was growing peach fuzz. Which is true.

Mandolindave... I hate to break the news to you. Unshaven Corporate World... more than half are women.

Since you address women, I feel free to post.

Did you hear the one about the werewolf--in his human form--who was sitting in the barber's chair when the moon rose? As hair sprouted all over the guy, the barber says "Oh hey, buddy, this is gonna cost you a lot more!"

Will it cost you a lot more, too?

Ditties on Country Joe and the Fish. 8 1/2 years in the Navy during Viet Nam. Not much hair left, but I can still exhibit quite an attitude😄

Aw, shucks, Ray-- you shouldn't have posted that song just for me/us!

There are some good "on the road" songs from that (our?) era, as well.

Happy trails.

Oh yes. I remember the age of Aquarius very well. Yes, my hair was long then, also.

mefly2.... now I get it.

3rd WOC- 1969 Fort Walters, TX
medontfly2expensive

I loved my favorite Mamas and Papas CD, playing the entire time, while crossing through western Kansas. Over and over. Somehow it cracked. Hmmm... It makes me begin to think some woman was behind this one.

I hate to say it, but this fur is becoming a living thing and I might have to do something with it.

Does County 7 Montana fall into your neighborhood? I heard even the women have beards living with all them lumbering Swedes.

Vivian... admit it. Caliban the Wonder Dog may be gone, but the memory could just under your husband's nose. I see Blue Heeler in the mirror every morning. My wife sees a dead squirrel needing to be thrown outside, off the back deck.

(I did not realize there are actually Airstream owners with a sense of humor. I thought humor was lost after paying for the trailer, but maybe not.)

I was told that those of us, myself included, who can remember the Age of Aquarius were observers rather than participants.

There is a lot of truth to that.

(TerryV does not remember everything about the Age of Aquarius)

I just have to say, guys.....Doug cleaned up, shaved, and smelled nice most days....not so much for himself, but more for his wifey.

Not because I told him to, but because he wanted to.

If ya wanna cuddle, and snuggle up.....

Just sayin'......

Ladies - offer to accompany the hairy beast - and adopt the tanktop minus shaved armpits look. Years ago there were some "art" shots of Madonna showing "au natural" pits and bikini area. Grossed out a large number of men.

The mere threat or reproducing that effect and just flaunting the pits will get a guy to do some serious man-scaping.

As a young impressionable male of 12 years old visiting France with father stationed in Germany in 1962... I had never seen women with hairy legs or armpits until then. Never had thought it possible. My impression of women changed forever.

"Maggie... this ya wanna cuddle and snuggle up" in my late 20's while camping became expensive. Had I known just to grow facial hair could have saved me... I would have started at a younger age.
