Bastrop State Park, Texas

The weather now is just great, so we decided to take the short trip to Bastrop State Park. It's been over a year since we have been here. I forgot how large some of the spaces are. We selected the W/E only sites for $17/nite. Very comfortable. I've included some pics.

Yup, during the week, or well ahead of time. It's a great park for sure.

Bastrop State Park is a great park, but always quite busy on weekends. We have camped in Buescher State Park which is connected to Bastrop State Park with a 12 mile scenic, winding and hilly park road. We like to ride our bikes and it was a real challenge to make the ride from park to park and back.

We've done that too. Great ride!
