Bass Harbor Campground..

We are planning our summer trips (can't get here fast enough!) and are looking into Bass Harbor Campground in Maine. Reservations open on 2-1-11. Anyone have an opinion on this park? We'd like to stay two weeks then head to Canada. Or is there a better park around that area?

I did a search on RV Park Reviews :: Home the last entry was in 2009 but none of the reviews were very good for this park check it out for yourself and see what you can read between the lines so to speak....SAM

We enjoyed Lamoine State Park when we were in the area. Not so crowded as those at Acadia and still beautiful.

Be sure to go to the Schoodig Peninsula unit of Acadia; not many folks go there, no traffic yet still the great rocky coastline with dramatic seas.
