Bad weather preparations....

We are planning a trip in the very near future to Colorado Spgs. If any of you have been there or live there you know that the weather can be absolutely crazy...today they are expecting snow and yesterday the winds were just under hurricane level on the plains. My question is, what do we need to do in case high winds occur at night?? Do we hook the AS to the tow vehicle for more stability? I know the winds get very bad sometimes, as we've been there throughout all kinds of crazy weather. We will be staying at the AF Academy. Snow won't bother us, but we are concerned mainly about wind. How have any of you handled this?

We spent a night at the facility last year. The camp area is in the trees so the wind should not be much of a factor. Even in high winds with the stabilizers down and the wheels chocked you should not have a problem. I would be more concerned with what I see in Zep's post: http://www.airforums.com/forums/f462...tml#post841116

Here are a few pictures from the AF Academy:
