Yes, Dave, we did & we are going south. But, we leave at the end of the month this year.Not such a bad thing as it's cold everywhere (even in the South).
Kind of shocking to see that picture again since it was also taken in Jan. as we were warming up the moho to leave. What a difference this year!

I saw 14 deg on truck display this AM, no snow. 1-2 hr delay for many schools and gov't offices today. Welcome to SC ya'll.

We have cooked a pot of soup on it in the past....need weather like we have currently, where you keep it stoked up all day. Works great.

How cold is it?
You know it's cold when Hell (Michigan) freezes over...
and an escaped prisoner turns himself in to flee the cold...
and Embarrass, Minnesota, records the lowest temperature in the nation today, -35F, lower than recently recorded temperatures on Mars!
Per BBC News: " Big freeze shatters North America temperature records".

Well it's better here this am. Without correcting for the sun on the thermometer, it reads over 20! I do thnink it's over 10, maybe 15. Later this week 40 and maybe 50. John

I've been to Hell and Paradise, Michigan. Went through both in one day. Those are actual towns in Michigan...
Been to Embarrass, Minnesota: it's south of Ely. Not sure what the temps have been in International Falls. It's bound to be cold too since it's on the border.
-11 right now but by this weekend we'll be +30. Trying to thaw out a hot water heat line to our family room: it's built in a breezeway between the house and garage and doesn't have basement under it. Never froze before!
