Great pictures guys. Glad our flood was not as bad as that! BTW, we are at Roper this am, heading to NM later today. The water is turned off at home.

was in your travel log, and at the end of the narration portion there are two buttons to click (not counting the red button that does nothing), both take you back to the 2011 trip list, neither take you to photos. You might want to check this out, or then again, it might be operator error (that would be me).

Dennis...

Hmmm... you didn't say which trip you were looking at. I did find a linking error in "The Flood" trip for 2011 (Both "Return to Trip List" buttons are incorrectly linked to the text page.) I will correct 5May13.

Other than that I can find nothing misbehaving with the 2011 trips using my 2 browsers (Firefox and Safari). If you can tell me which trip(s) you were looking at I can review the links, etc...thanks for pointing out the problem you are having. There's nothing quite as frustrating ... for both of us!

I'm leaving Saturday for my second season at Mesa Verde NP. If you get tired of the Tucson heat this summer, come on up to Colorado. Ask for Ranger Pete. I'll get you guys hooked up on some great tours!

Hey, Pete! Thanks for the note. We might very well be in the area of Mesa Verde in June...we are thinking of going north to CO after the 4CU Summer in Santa Fe Rally in early June.

We were in that area last October for another rally just as the campground in Mesa Verde was closing for the season (bummer), so we saved Mesa Verde for another trip in that direction. If we do get there we will definitely look you up! Have a great summer there...it's a beautiful area.

Not such a great homecoming - busted ceilings and a flood. I can think of worse, though... Well, not really....

It sounds as though you've recovered and are moving on to better things, like more trips in the Bambino. Good for you guys.

We spent a month in Tucson in February, and the month of March in Palm Desert. It was a nice respite from the gray skies of Oregon. We came home in time for the daffodils and flowering plums in our yard. The rig has been parked since the end of March and I am missing it. We're looking forward to our month-long trip to the Oregon Coast this summer. Good times = Air Stream.

Getting more caught up!

Hey All...new update:

I explained earlier we suffered a flood in our home while we were attending an Airstream New Year's Rally in Dec 2010/Jan 2011, and it really threw a wrench into the works, disrupting our lives in countless ways. One casualty of the ordeal was our travel log.

We are still not completely caught up yet, but we have finished 2011 as of today — that's a year's worth of trips — and are ready to begin working on 2012. I am hopeful that now that we are "in the groove" again, it will move more quickly, and before long we will be current.

The web address for the travel log is below in our signature...

Here are a few pics for you from trips since the last one we had pictures for...the North Rim of the Gran Canyon, though there are many many more on our website.

Terry, do you tend to stay in Airstream-only parks? The parks you chose all look pretty terrific. Is getting in and out of Mexico an ordeal?

Hey Kathleen...we have stayed in only one Airstream-only park, and that was just overnight as a guests of friends who live there ... Ponderosa Shadows in Show Low, AZ. We stay mostly in state parks and national forest campgrounds with a commercial park here and there. Sometimes you'll see other Airstreams in our pictures because we are camping with Airstream friends or attending an Airstream rally.

We have had no troubles getting into or out of Mexico, but we have only gone as far as Puerto Peñasco (Rocky Point), which is only about 60 miles south of the border at Lukevlle, AZ, and within a "free zone" where vehicle paperwork is minimized. You do need a valid passport, and there are some restrictions on what you can bring back into the US. You also need Mexican insurance for you vehicles.
