AZ to Sequoia Natl Park camping?

We have a 28' Excella and would like to stop at Sequoia. From what I have read we would have to enter off of 180.

Where have others camped?

Thanks for any help. BadKat

Lodgepole would be your best bet at Sequoia. If you're going to be there any length of time, you should also visit King's Canyon. There are campgrounds near Grant Village. Trailers are not recommended in King's Canyon itself, unless you are adventuresome, but you can easily drive there in your TV from the campground. The Sequoia and King's Canyon websites have a lot of useful information on available facilities, etc.

Ive stayed a few times at Sequoia RV Ranch in Three Rivers and just drive 8 miles to the entrance of the park. This was very easy and the town of Three Rivers is small but cute. You can also check out boondocking & fishing spots along the way into the park. Dont forget to see the lil historic post office.

I can second what LilNomad said about the Sequoia RV Ranch.
