Avoiding Houston and Austin?

Taking toll roads around Houston without an EZ pass is just a mistake. We made that mistake and spent valuable time on the phone with the tolling authority getting our toll paid and avoiding a fine. If you have an EZ pass, enjoy the ride.

We stayed at a good place in Pearland, Advanced RV Park. Nice folks, pristine showers and rest rooms, nice pool, good laundry. Recommended for an overnight in the Houston area, though it's full of snowbirds in March.
